Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers in Dublin for a fully remote hourly contract to help shape AI-generated code. You will write, review, and improve AI outputs, providing expert feedback that makes AI coding assistants smarter and safer.

You'll work independently, set your own schedule, and tackle a range of languages while focusing on correctness, readability, and performance. This role offers flexible hours and ongoing opportunities for engagement on new projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Able to read, write, and reason about code clearly.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across languages and domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and efficiency.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback explaining why code works or not.
• Design prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Rank AI-generated solutions by engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
