Job summary

SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, seeks an Accounting SME for an hourly remote contractor role. You will review AI-generated accounting responses, provide expert explanations, and deliver precise feedback on reasoning and accuracy.

Applicants should have a strong accounting background, CPA/ACCA/CMA is a plus, and be comfortable working across time zones with clear written English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA is a strong plus.
• 5+ years in accounting (public accounting, industry, shared services, or advisory).
• Experience preparing journal entries and month-end close.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content with prompts and gold-standard accounting outputs (journal entries, explanations, close checklists, reconciliations).
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, clarity, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, bias, and reliability across business scenarios.
