Enable Ireland is seeking Relief Staff Nurses (RIND) to join our Adult Services team in Nenagh and Thurles. The role involves providing nursing duties, assisting personal care, mobility support, and facilitating access to services in the community and via our virtual day service.

You will work within a person-centred plan to develop service options. Applicants must have RNID qualification valid for Ireland, be registered in the NMBI Intellectual Disability Nurse Division, and maintain annual

• Annual registration with NMBI confirmed.
• Must maintain annual registration with NMBI.
• Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
• Basic IT skills.
• Experience working with adults in a day service setting.
• 1 year’s experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Experience of working in community setting.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking highly-motivated Relief Staff Nurses (RIND) to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, in the following locations:

• Nenagh
• Thurles

Contract Hours: Variable Hours

Annual Leave Entitlement: Annual leave entitlement is 10.7% of hours worked

Salary Scale: €37,801 to €55,193 pro rata per annum.

Overview of the Post:

The role of the Relief Staff Nurse is to work as part of a team within the adult day service to facilitate service owners with their daily programmes. This will also include, providing nursing duties, assisting personal care needs, mobility, and supporting access to services in their community and on our virtual day service. The post holder will encourage and support opportunities to help develop a range of options for service owners in line with their person‑centred plan.

The successful candidate will have:

• Have a nursing RNID qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland
• Be registered in the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Successful candidate must confirm annual registration with the NMBI to enable Ireland.
• Post holders must maintain annual registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
• Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
• Basic IT skills.
• Must be eligible to work in state
• Experience working with adults in a day service setting.
• 1 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities.
• Experience of working in community setting.
