Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to join our team across the Cork City area. This is a permanent role with hours Monday to Friday, two Saturdays a month, and one Sunday a month. You will be supported by an Area Manager and a rostering team.

The successful candidate will observe the Pharmacy Act 2007, maintain professional standards, and participate in CPD and health-promotion activities while ensuring stock control and Department of Health schemes compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years as a Pharmacist is highly advantageous.
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Observe regulatory requirements under the Pharmacy Act 2007.
• Maintain a professional community pharmacy standard.
• Participate in health promotion programmes and pharmaceutical care.
• Engage in Continuing Education for CPD.
• Implement company policies and SOPs.
• Ensure stock control, receipts and documentation in dispensary.
• Maintain security of stock, premises and staff safety with the store manager.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health schemes and monthly reconciliations.
• Assist in store retail standards, category management and merchandising.
