Job summary

Uniphar Group in Finglas is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support stores across the Finglas area on a permanent full-time basis.

You will work with Supervising Pharmacists, help deliver patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in training and team development.

The role offers a range of benefits including pension contributions, training funding, and enhanced Sunday-rate shifts, with mileage support for relief rosters.

Qualifications

• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage but full training will be given to those from other backgrounds.
• Proven people management.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated with excellent people skills, confidence and demonstrable clinical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and be acutely aware of customer needs while being commercially astute.
• Focus on patients and customers with exemplary face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiatives.
• Work with the team to find care solutions for customers and patients.
• Assist in the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with regulations.
• Assist in group healthcare and company/marketing events.
• Communicate with the team on business performance and new initiatives.
• Participate in staff training events and support development of the team.
• Report to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store and employee performance.
