Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to cover our stores across Monaghan and Louth. This permanent 27-hour position offers exposure to multiple sites within the group and a relief roster planned 6–8 weeks in advance.

You will assist the Supervising Pharmacist, support care solutions for customers and patients, and contribute to the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years as a Pharmacist is advantageous.
• Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication.
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiatives.
• Work with the team to find care solutions for customers and patients.
• Assist in the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with regulations.
• Assist in group healthcare and company/marketing events.
• Communicate with the team on business performance and new initiatives.
• Partake in staff training events and support team development.
• Report to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store and employee performance.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Relief Pharmacist for our stores across Monaghan and Louth. This role is a permanent 27‑hour position covering a range of stores throughout the counties. Through this opportunity, you will gather great insight into the brands under Uniphar and work within a regularly scheduled relief roster, which is provided 6‑8 weeks in advance.
