We are currently seeking a motivated and patient-focused Relief Pharmacist to join our busy community pharmacy teams across our 10 stores. Our relief pharmacist will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting our Supervising Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and delivering expert advice. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services and building strong relationships with patients and the local community.
This role is minimum 120 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in accordance with PSI regulations and Standard Operating Procedures
- Deliver excellent patient care and professional advice to the local community
- Support the supervising pharmacist and wider pharmacy team in day-to-day operations
- Ensure the safe and accurate supply of medicines
- Assist with stock control and ordering
- Support the delivery of pharmacy services including vaccinations, health checks, and Common Conditions Service
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Build and maintain positive personal relationships with our customers
- Support colleagues in maintaining a positive working environment
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required
- Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Minimum of 1 years' experience of the Irish Schemes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
- Highly organised with a proven ability to work on multiple tasks accurately in a pressurised environment
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Patient-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of care
