Job summary

Kids Inc. is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join our team in Dublin on a part-time, permanent basis.

You will support children's learning through play, document progress, and help create a warm, inclusive environment for families and staff at Foley Street, Dublin 1. Applicants should hold QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or an equivalent DCEDIY-recognised qualification, with fluent English and a positive, professional approach.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or a DCEDIY-recognised qualification.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• A positive, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, develop and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Previous experience in a Creche or Early Years setting.
• First Aid training.
• Manual Handling training.
• Food Safety training.

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment for all children.
• Supporting children's learning and development through play-based experiences.
• Observing children's interests and development, documenting progress, and planning activities.
• Supporting children's physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and language development.
• Supervising and engaging with children during meals and daily routines.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, guardians, and colleagues.
• Maintaining accurate observations and records in line with programme requirements.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised environment in line with policies and regulations.
