Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking a Bank Nurse to lead our relief team across our nursing homes. You will ensure high standards of care, manage shifts, and support residents within a network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification with active NMBI registration.
• Right to work in Ireland.
• Experience in nursing home or hospital setting is desirable.
• Compassionate and caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents in line with best practice and organisational policies.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with medication management guidelines.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report any changes or concerns.
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare assistants, multidisciplinary teams, and management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide appropriate care.
• Provide emotional support to residents and communicate effectively with families.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in handovers and maintain clear communication across shifts.
