Job summary

The Panel is recruiting a Relationship Manager on behalf of our client, a global corporate bank in Ireland, to support a Relationship Director in managing a portfolio of corporate clients with a focus on the Consumer Sector.

You will contribute to credit analysis, relationship development and proactive client service, working with colleagues across Ireland and Europe to deliver tailored solutions and strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Min 5 years’ experience in a financial institution with credit-related experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial drivers that support sound decision-making.
  • Proven credit assessment ability with excellent credit writing and submission skills.
  • Solid awareness of risk management processes and regulatory expectations.
  • Confident relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Relationship Director in managing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering needs-based solutions
  • Attend client meetings, contribute to business development activity, and help coordinate responses to RFPs
  • Carry out financial, credit, and profitability analysis
  • Prepare high-quality credit submissions for new and existing facilities
  • Provide day-to-day support with client planning, pipeline management and call reports
  • Monitor credit risk, review concern lists and credit control reports

Job description

Our client, a global corporate bank with substantial operations in Ireland, is seeking a Relationship Manager on an initial 12-month contract (contract extension and/or permanency is a possibility). In this role you will be supporting a Relationship Director in managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, with a strong focus on the Consumer Sector. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the business, in Ireland and across Europe, to deliver tailored solutions and support great customer outcomes. You will play a key part in credit analysis, relationship development, and proactive client service.
