Job summary

Allianz Re Dublin dac is seeking a Reinsurance Underwriter/Actuary to join the Dublin team. You will underwrite and price non-life proportional and non-proportional treaty reinsurance, collaborate with a specialist team, and engage in technical pricing opinions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' relevant experience in actuarial roles within the non-life insurance industry.
• Proven experience in reinsurance underwriting and pricing.
• Ability to communicate and deliver technical solutions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Property & Casualty reinsurance treaty submissions and present findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct transaction pricing using Allianz Re pricing tools and develop bespoke pricing models.
• Collaborate with the local specialist team to support technical pricing opinions.
• Build relationships with colleagues across Allianz Re Group and internationally.
• Review and contribute to policy wordings for internal treaty reinsurance.
• Engage in continuous improvement to optimise processes and outcomes.
• Share knowledge and tools with colleagues while developing expertise.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure correct pricing allocation.
