Job summary

TikTok Ireland is seeking a Regulatory Response Analyst within the Trust & Safety team in Dublin to lead front-line case management of major regulatory incidents. You will coordinate with Risk Containment and Regional Safety teams to contain high-risk events and ensure timely mitigation.

You will analyse incident trends, drive improvements to policy, process and product, and collaborate with Legal, Public Policy, and Engineering to implement lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience in a fast paced environment, preferably in Trust & Safety Operations or Incident, Policy, Risk or Crisis Management roles
• Good knowledge of the Central and Eastern Europe region, with fluency in one language to effectively engage with regional stakeholders and global teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with different teams
• Good project management skills, with a proven record of driving change from conception to execution
• Be flexible with global working hours and with working on certain weekends, on a rotation basis
• Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and regional differences in harmful content definitions and enforcement

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve reported incidents across multiple channels for TikTok and coordinate our response to global partners inquiries. This could be a time sensitive response to a critical government regulatory report, a safety related matter raised by our Community Partner Channel partner or a trending challenge that may pose harm to our community
• Participate in risk containment efforts across various global cross-functional teams including Public Policy, Legal, Product and Engineering, among others to handle and respond to crisis
• Analyse incident trends, systems and data to develop improvements to the overall incident processes and drive improvements across process, policy and product
• Stakeholder collaboration: utilize data-driven insights to influence stakeholders and transform frontline signals into product, policy, and detection enhancements.
• Conduct analysis, review market data to identify root causes and implement lessons learned into policies, processes, and tooling improvements.

About the team: Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. The regulatory Response team aims to ensure the safety of our users on the platform by responding to varying levels of escalations. As a Regulatory Response Analyst within our Trust & Safety team, you will be on the front line case managing our response to major global Trust & Safety pressing regulatory incidents. You will partner with broader Risk Containment and Regional Safety teams to contain high-risk incidents, ensuring timely and thorough mitigation of escalations and crises. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
