Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for a leading Galway nursing home. You will deliver high‑quality nursing care, create and update personalised care plans with the multidisciplinary team, and support junior nurses to maintain clinical standards.

You will administer medications safely, keep families informed, and assist with shift supervision. A licensed NMBI RN is required; a bachelor’s degree and hospital experience are preferred, and a driving licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed NMBI-registered nurse (RN).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure all clinical needs are met and monitored.
• Create and update personalised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support and guide care assistants and junior nurses to maintain consistent clinical standards.
• Administer medications safely, accurately, and in line with strict policies and documentation requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with residents' families, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Assist with shift supervision to ensure effective staff allocation and smooth unit operations.
• Promote a safe working environment by following regulations, adhering to infection control guidelines, and responding promptly to emergencies.
