Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd in Galway is seeking a Staff Nurse for a leading Nursing Home. The ideal candidate is passionate about enhancing residents' quality of life and values social, physical, and mental wellbeing.

You will deliver high‑quality nursing care, create and update personalised care plans with the multidisciplinary team, supervise and guide care staff, administer medications, communicate with residents' families, and help with shift supervision while maintaining infection control

Qualifications

• A licensed NMBI-pined registered nurse (RN).
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• One year of nursing experience is preferred.
• One year of hospital experience is preferred.
• A driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure all clinical needs are met and monitored.
• Create and update personalised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support and guide care assistants and junior nurses to maintain consistent clinical standards.
• Administer medications safely, accurately, and in line with strict policies and documentation requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with residents' families, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Assist with shift supervision to ensure effective staff allocation and smooth unit operations.
• Promote a safe working environment by following regulations, adhering to infection control guidelines, and responding promptly to emergencies.
