Job summary

AGS Recruitment is seeking a Registered General Nurse for immediate full-time and part-time agency shifts in Limerick and nearby areas. You will deliver high-quality nursing care in line with HIQA and NMBI standards, administer medications, and monitor clients’ health status.

We value compassionate, reliable professionals with strong communication and documentation skills. Active NMBI PIN, eligibility to work in Ireland, up-to-date vaccinations, and a driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI PIN and registration.
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship provided).
• Vaccinations up to date as required.
• Minimum 6–12 months post-registration nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Registered General Nurse for immediate full-time and part-time agency shifts in Limerick and nearby areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care in compliance with HIQA and NMBI standards.
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and monitor service users’ health status.
• Accurately document and report any clinical observations, incidents, or changes in condition.
• Support and supervise healthcare assistants and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure infection prevention, health and safety, and best practice compliance at all times.
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence in all care interactions.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI PIN and registration
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship provided)
• Required clinical vaccinations up to date
• Minimum of 6–12 months of post-registration nursing experience (preferred)
• Full driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
