Fáilte Ireland invites applications for the position of Officer, Ireland’s Ancient East. The role reports to a Manager Product and Regional Development and is responsible for delivering projects under the Ireland’s Ancient East Regional Tourism Development Strategy and local Destination and Experience Development Plans.

You will manage investments, coordinate stakeholders, and drive destination development across multiple sites, while travelling as required and working flexible hours.

Competenze

• A minimum of three years’ relevant professional experience in destination development, investment programme management, tourism development, or a related area.
• Experience in commercial decision making based on insight and metrics
• Experience in managing multiple complex stakeholders to reach consensus
• Experience in translating organisational strategy into delivery projects
• Access to own transport/valid driving licence; regular travel within Ireland
• A professional qualification (min level 6 under the QQI framework) in a related discipline

Mansioni

• Delivery of Destination and Experience Development Plans (DEDPs) at local level.
• Coordinate project activities, timelines and stakeholder inputs.
• Manage investment projects including cash flow and drawdown deadlines.
• Develop and harness industry networks to gain buy-in on project priorities.
• Ensure communication is consistent, timely and relevant.
• Support travel and flexible hours as required.
