Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior Associate Director to lead property access, approvals and stakeholder coordination across major rail, transport, energy and essential-services programmes in Ireland or Northern Ireland. This permanent, full-time role will provide senior leadership across a regional portfolio, with responsibility for delivery quality, team development, client relationships and commercial performance.

We are looking for an individual presently based in Ireland or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Director-level leadership experience within rail, transport or infrastructure.
• Practical understanding of property access and third-party permissions.
• Experience leading workstreams on substantial capital programmes.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities and establish an effective operating rhythm for the regional team.
• Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure assignments from mobilisation through to completion.
• Maintain senior-level relationships with clients, delivery organisations and project partners, providing advice on property access, permissions and approvals.
• Develop the regional pipeline through networking, bid support, account development and the introduction of complementary services.
• Coach colleagues, share specialist knowledge and promote delegation across the wider practice.
• Maintain strong control of project economics, including resource planning, forecasting, fee recovery, invoicing and outstanding payments.
• Provide authoritative guidance on land, stakeholder or approval challenges.
