Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group seeks a Regional Fundraising & Development Officer to support and grow volunteer fundraising branches across Leinster and the South East. The role focuses on mentoring volunteers, driving income targets, and strengthening community relationships while coordinating with a network of around 300 volunteers.

You will lead volunteer recruitment, plan fundraising events, and identify leaders for succession, with travel across the region and flexible evening or weekend

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or fundraising, with targets.
  • People management experience, including coaching and developing others.
  • Experience planning and delivering projects or events.
  • Full, clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with branch volunteers and provide guidance.
  • Identify and mentor potential branch leaders and succession planning.
  • Support volunteer recruitment, training and ongoing engagement.
  • Help branches plan and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and projects.
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities and develop relationships with local businesses and supporters.
  • Take responsibility for regional income targets and P&L performance across branches.
  • Monitor activity, income and expenditure with CRM and reporting systems.
  • Share successful approaches between branches and help resolve performance issues.
