Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment seeks an experienced Area Sales Manager for a leading construction materials manufacturer serving Munster. You will grow sales, manage key accounts and strengthen relationships with Builders' Merchants, house builders and main contractors.

Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, developing regional growth plans, maintaining a project pipeline and promoting lintel and related building products across Munster. Travel across the region is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, ideally within the construction or building materials sector.
• Strong commercial awareness with a client-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet targets and thrive in a target-driven sales environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Full, clean driving licence with the willingness to travel regularly across the Munster region.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Builders' Merchants, House Builders, Main Contractors, Brickwork Contractors, and Specifiers across the Munster region.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while maximizing sales growth within existing accounts.
• Develop and execute business development plans for key customers to drive regional market expansion.
• Manage a project pipeline, ensuring timely preparation of quotations and schedules, and track opportunities through to successful completion.
• Act as a knowledgeable industry ambassador by providing expert advice and promoting lintel and related building products effectively.
