Job summary

Care Connect Group is recruiting a Community/Homecare Nurse Manager to lead and develop nursing services in the HSE South West region. The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves travel to support homecare delivery across the region.

The successful candidate will oversee quality management, staff development, and regulatory readiness, ensuring safe, person-centred care and adherence to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-registration clinical experience in community services or homecare.
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments and home support readiness.
• Full, clean driver’s licence with access to own vehicle.
• Experience preparing for HIQA Inspections and HSE Audits.
• Strong IT proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, and evaluation of the quality management framework.
• Involved in training and development of healthcare staff.
• Ensure competency assessments, client reviews and care plans are updated per legal requirements.
• Maintain robust systems for safe, effective, person-centred care delivery.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and prepare for home support regulations.
• Drive continuous quality improvement across services.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, and clinical standards; support strategic planning.
• Uphold the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct and guidelines.
• Support health and wellbeing of clients receiving home support; provide expert staff guidance.
