Navio Ltd is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Ireland. You will install, maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring safety and energy efficiency.

You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and provide practical solutions for client requirements, working with project managers to deliver integrated, reliable cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools, equipment, van (if provided) and keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
• Complete job documentation: reports of work done, parts used, recommendations for follow‑up maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and all relevant regulations.
• Occasionally respond to emergency call‑outs and after‑hours work.

QEHS Management System Responsibilities

• Comply with Navio’s Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Management System requirements, performing work according to process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
• Understand and apply our QEHS policy statements in all aspects of your work.
• Contribute toward achieving Navio’s QEHS objectives.
• Ensure that the needs and requirements of Navio’s internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
• Help develop and improve Navio’s internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas.

Experience

• Fully qualified Refrigeration/HVAC Technician with a completed Refrigeration Apprenticeship.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years post‑trade experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components, is essential.
