Job summary

Navio Ltd is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Ireland. You will install, maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring safety and energy efficiency.

You will diagnose faults, perform routine maintenance, and provide practical solutions for client requirements, working with project managers to deliver integrated, reliable cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Installing refrigeration and air conditioning systems, in line with client and building requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions in existing systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Troubleshooting: fault‑finding diagnostics and providing solutions with quality workmanship.
• Advise clients on system improvements and adjustments to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, including project managers, to develop integrated solutions that meet the specific needs of the client.
• Maintain tools, equipment, van (if provided) and keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
• Complete job documentation: reports of work done, parts used, recommendations for follow‑up maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and all relevant regulations.
• Occasionally respond to emergency call‑outs and after‑hours work.
