Job summary

Artemis Human Capital is partnering with a family-owned organisation in Cavan to recruit a Recruitment Lead (Driver Recruitment). You will shape driver recruitment and retention initiatives, building a best-in-class driver community.

In this role you will develop annual and seasonal strategies, manage multi-channel recruitment, and oversee end-to-end processes from screening to onboarding, with hybrid working options after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years end-to-end recruitment experience across multiple channels.
• Preferable international recruitment experience including visas and Irish immigration requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 or similar).
• HR degree or equivalent HR qualification.
• Experience with employee relations, retention and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver annual and seasonal driver recruitment strategies.
• Build and manage driver talent pipelines via referrals, social media, job boards, agencies and international recruitment.
• Identify sourcing channels and partnerships to attract high-quality drivers.
• Manage recruitment budgets and improve cost, speed, quality and conversion.
• Oversee end-to-end driver recruitment including screening, assessments and checks.
• Deliver a professional candidate experience from contact to joining.
• Design onboarding and probation processes with Driver Management.

Recruitment Lead (Driver Recruitment)

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with a family-owned, internationally-operating and exponentially growing organisation operating across Ireland, United Kingdom and Europe located in Cavan area in the recruitment of the newly-created role of Talent Acquisition Lead.

Working closely with their driver management team, you will shape innovative recruitment and retention initiatives, strengthen our driver proposition and help build a best-in-class driver community that attracts and retains the very best professional drivers.

What will you do as Recruitment Lead?

• Develop and deliver annual and seasonal driver recruitment strategies aligned with workforce requirements.
• Build and manage strong driver talent pipelines through referrals, social media, job boards, agencies, training providers, apprenticeships and international recruitment.
• Identify innovative sourcing channels and partnerships to attract high-quality drivers.
• Manage recruitment budgets, continuously improving cost, speed, quality and conversion rates.
• Develop partnerships with training providers, educational organisations and other key recruitment partners.
• Manage driver referral, trainee and apprenticeship programmes.
• Oversee end-to-end driver recruitment, including screening, interviews, driving assessments, qualifications, right-to-work and medical checks.
• Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through to joining.
• Design and manage structured onboarding and probation processes in partnership with Driver Management.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, promoting a culture where people feel valued, supported and motivated to stay.
• Develop driver engagement initiatives, including regular check-ins, surveys, stay interviews and a Driver Buddy Programme.
• Monitor turnover, feedback and early indicators of dissatisfaction, implementing targeted actions to improve retention.
• Conduct exit interviews, address driver concerns and ensure feedback is communicated and acted upon.
• Promote career development, benefits and the wider employee value proposition.
• Develop the driver social media, digital recruitment and engagement strategy, ensuring platforms remain effective and engaging.
• Encourage drivers to become company ambassadors and advocates.
• Continuously identify new ways to strengthen the driver proposition, engagement, community and retention.

What will you require as Recruitment Lead

• Minimum of 3 years of end to end recruitment experience including multi-channel recruitment
