Job summary

ABEC is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full-cycle hiring process across the organisation. You will partner with leaders, source high-quality candidates, screen, interview, and guide candidates through onboarding, while upholding our values.

You will build talent pipelines, report on metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement in our HR function, with occasional travel for events and recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume environments.
• Experience with sourcing tools, ATS systems, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive mindset and passion for finding the right people for the right opportunities.
• Fluent in English.

Position Summary

As our Recruiter, you'll manage the full-cycle hiring process, partner with leaders across the organization, and create a great experience for candidates from first conversation through onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand current and future workforce needs, developing effective sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection.
• Proactively source high-quality candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, employee referrals, community partnerships, and recruitment events.
• Conduct candidate screenings and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit, ensuring a positive and efficient recruitment process.
• Coordinate and facilitate interviews, maintaining clear communication between candidates and hiring teams throughout the selection process.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring a strong pool of qualified candidates across key functions.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by providing timely updates, professional communication, and a positive representation of the organisation and its values.
• Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, educational institutions, and community outreach programmes to enhance employer branding and attract talent.
• Track, analyse, and report on recruitment metrics, using data to identify trends, improve hiring effectiveness, and optimise recruitment processes.
• Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in compliance with employment legislation, company policies, diversity and inclusion principles, and recruitment best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR and Talent Acquisition function.
• Travel occasionally to support recruitment activities, workforce events, and hiring initiatives, including some evening or weekend events as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume recruiting.
• Experience with sourcing tools, ATS systems, and recruiting best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset and passion for finding the right people for the right opportunities.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Fluent in English
• Experience in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
