UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Recovery department in Theatre on a permanent part-time basis (28.5 hours). The successful candidate will deliver patient-centred care in pre- and post-operative settings and support the theatre team.

You will report to the CNM 1 and Director of Nursing, participate in accreditation and CQI, maintain high safety standards, and communicate with patients’ relatives.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse on live NMBI register (An Bord Altranais).
• Minimum 4 years post-registration; at least 3 years in theatre/recovery.
• Orthopaedic experience desirable but not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centred care in theatre/recovery.
• Maintain and develop nursing services in the unit.
• Communicate with relatives as required.
• Participate in Accreditation and CQI initiatives.
• Ensure safe transfer of patients to Day Ward and In-Patient ward.
