Job summary

The Hoxton, Dublin is seeking a friendly and proactive Front Desk/Guest Services teammate to welcome guests on arrival and ensure a memorable stay. You will handle check-ins, billing accuracy, and help guests with requests and recommendations.

You’ll collaborate with multiple hotel departments to maintain a smooth, busy operation and deliver exceptional service. Experience with Opera or similar PMS is a plus; a positive attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Micros Fidelio Opera or similar front desk system.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome them in line with The Hoxton’s standards.
• Process check-ins/outs, ensuring accurate billing with no surprises.
• Coordinate with teams to manage occupancy and overbookings when needed.
• Maintain accurate data in all systems and generate daily reports as required.
• Offer local recommendations and act as a one-stop concierge for guests.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• You're the first face our guests see, and you have your own way of treating them as individuals, making them feel welcome and their stay special - the Hox way.
• Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises.
• Work with all our teams to make sure we're always busy, and help our Front Office Manager with any overbooking levels.
• Ensure the accuracy of data in all systems and provides the necessary daily reports for all departments as per our standard operating procedures.
• Answer phones, sort out requests, give recommendations to the best show to see and the latest pop-up restaurant to try in the area - you're the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to.
