Job summary

PGIM Ireland is seeking a Real Estate Fund Accounting Manager in Letterkenny to lead accounting and reporting for domestic real estate portfolios. You will oversee the fund administrator, ensure accurate statements, and manage deliverables with stakeholders.

The role requires 5-8 years of financial accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA/public accounting background preferred, and strong Excel. This hybrid role combines on-site coordination with remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in financial accounting including financial statement preparation and review.
• Experience in real estate investment companies strongly preferred.
• Public accounting or CPA background strongly preferred.
• Understanding GAAP as it relates to real estate investment company accounting.
• Familiarity with data validation and downstream reporting impacts.
• Experience managing a third-party fund administrator is a plus.
• Knowledge of REIT structures and taxation.
• Ability to manage multiple processes with tight deadlines.
• Commitment to process improvement and adding value.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the third-party fund administrator.
• Ensure oversight controls are in place and functioning.
• Provide instructions and direction as needed.
• Manage a calendar of deliverables and downstream impacts.
• Track KPIs to gauge performance.
• Balance expectations between business and fund administrator.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements timely and accurately.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and multi-year performance returns.
• Submit monthly/quarterly data to industry organizations and consultants.
• Deliver client materials (questionnaires and ad-hoc requests).
• Provide portfolio analytics (leasing and other metrics).
• Deliver investor-level reporting (traces, unit value calculations).
• Support Asset Managers on ongoing operations.
• Interact with Legal and Transaction staff on acquisitions/sales.
• Work with Policy group on new accounting policies and treatments.
• Coordinate with Systems on data initiatives affecting property/portfolio data.
• Oversee audits with internal/external auditors.
• Contribute to firm-wide projects and process improvements.
