Job summary

Dovida Ireland is seeking compassionate Quick Discharge Live-in Caregivers to provide short-term, intensive non-medical support after hospital discharge or in crisis-at-home situations.

Assignments are mobilised within 1–3 working days and last up to 21 working days. Caregivers travel nationwide, support personal care, housekeeping, and provide emotional companionship under client care plans.

Qualifications

• Language: high standard of spoken and written English.
• Garda Vetting and international police clearances may be required.
• EU Passport, National ID or Stamp 4 permission needed.
• Basic IT skills with Microsoft Teams and Forms.
• Driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming and continence care.
• Prompt medications as required.
• Assist with light housekeeping and errands.
• Assist with community activities and appointments.
• Support emotional wellbeing and companionship.
• Report concerns to local office or mobilise emergency supports.
• Follow organisation policies at all times.
