Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks an experienced Site Engineer for a railway infrastructure project at Longford Railway Station, delivering accessibility upgrades for Irish Rail. You will set out using GPS and Total Station and coordinate with subcontractors on site.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and a minimum of 2 years' site engineering experience in Ireland or the UK, with strong setting-out skills and the ability to read drawings. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' site engineering experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong setting-out skills and proficiency with GPS/Total Station.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out using GPS and Total Station.
• Oversee station accessibility upgrades, trackside works and civils.
• Interpret drawings, specs and site plans.
• Complete site surveys, measurements and as-builts.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Assist with QA/QC documentation and inspections.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and programme requirements.
