Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting an Engineering Manager to lead the Track design during the initial design phase of a major Rail project in Ireland. You will report to the Engineering Lead and coordinate design teams, partners and alliance members to deliver safe, buildable solutions on time and within budget.

We seek a Chartered Engineer with civil engineering expertise, strong leadership, and extensive rail design experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer or professional equivalent preferred.
• Extensive experience in rail design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, sustainability, cost and time.
• Manage design to ensure safe, buildable, compliant solutions.
• Oversee scheme design through Detailed Design, construction support and as-built stages.
• Coordinate Designers and subcontractors to deliver aligned outputs.
• Interface with NR and stakeholders to drive program goals.
• Promote 3D design delivery and BIM Execution Plan requirements.
