Job summary

Apple Cork is seeking an experienced Record to Report Accountant to own financial accounting, US GAAP, local statutory and tax compliance for a portfolio of entities in EMEIA. You will lead monthly and quarterly close, coordinate with external auditors, and maintain strong control environments.

The role requires fully qualified accountants with 5+ years post-qualification experience, strong technical accounting skills, and the ability to work across regions.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and FRS.
• Ability to model complex accounting and tax calculations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisation and deadline discipline.
• Collaborative across regions and functions to influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for a portfolio of entities, including monthly close.
• Manage US GAAP, local statutory, and tax compliance.
• Coordinate with external advisors and auditors.
• Ensure SOX controls and robust governance.
• Support ad-hoc GBS initiatives and process improvements.
• Partner with R2R, tax, legal and business teams.
