Job summary

RSM Ireland is recruiting a skilled R&D Tax Credit Manager or Senior Manager to lead claims for a diverse client base in Dublin. You will manage technical assessments, financial analyses, and Revenue‑compliant documentation, while growing the firm’s R&D incentives service line.

You will work with a large in‑house science pool and collaborate across the tax practice. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to influence innovative client solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years’ experience preparing or managing R&D tax credit claims within Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of Irish R&D tax legislation and Revenue practice.
• Experience in a professional services/advisory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of R&D tax credit claims for multiple clients.
• Conduct technical interviews with client engineering, scientific, and software teams.
• Prepare and review Revenue‑compliant technical narratives.
• Oversee calculation of eligible expenditure including payroll, contractors, and software.
• Develop documentation frameworks to ensure audit‑ready claims.
• Support clients through Revenue queries, audits, and risk reviews.
• Act as primary client contact, managing timelines and expectations.
• Contribute to business development including proposals and pitches.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical training.
• Support strategic development of RSM’s R&D incentives offering.
