Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a motivated intern to join the Digital Solutions team at our Cork site. You will work on data collection, tool development and testing, and learn cloud platforms, coding, and data visualization.

You will build databases and apps using Power Platform, Azure, SQL and Python, collaborating with cross-functional teams on real-world healthcare projects. Mentorship and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related courses.
• Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Python or JavaScript).
• Curious, eager to learn, and a good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data.
• Support the development and testing of digital tools.
• Learn about cloud platforms, coding, and data visualization.
• Join team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Build databases on SQL Server for data extracted during prototype testing.
• Build apps interfacing input/upload data using Power Platform, Azure, SQL & Python.
• Build apps to interact with task management tools using Power Platform, Azure, SQL & Python.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety and 6S Systems.
• Report progress to mentor/leader regularly.
