Job summary

Stryker in Cork invites applications for a university internship within the Digital Solutions team. The role focuses on building data tools, collecting and organizing data, and learning cloud platforms, coding, and data visualization.

You will contribute to prototype data workflows and develop interfaces using modern platforms. You will gain hands-on experience with Power Platform, Azure, SQL, and Python while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related courses.
• Basic coding knowledge (e.g., Python or JavaScript).
• Curious, eager to learn, and a good communicator.
• Honesty and integrity; must comply with quality system, regulations, and company policies.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking in a dynamic, fast, results-oriented environment.
• Interested in data, software, and digital innovation.

Responsibilities

• Help collect and organize data.
• Support development and testing of digital tools.
• Learn about cloud platforms, coding, and data visualization.
• Join team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Build databases on SQL Server (or similar) for extracting and analysing data captured during prototypes.
• Build apps as interfaces to input and upload data from building and test results using Power Platform, Azure, SQL & Python.
• Build apps to interact with task management tools using Power Platform, Azure, SQL & Python.
• Evaluate and implement process improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety and 6S Systems.
• Communicate and update mentor/leader regularly.
• All training provided for above activities.
