Job summary

Stryker is seeking a tightly focused intern to support the Digital Solutions team at our Cork site. You will work with data, build tools, and learn cloud platforms to help R&D decisions. Prototyping databases and apps will be part of daily tasks, using Python/SQL alongside Power Platform, Azure, and data visualization.

You will be mentored, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to real-world projects improving healthcare outcomes. Duration options include 6, 9, or 12 months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an IT-related degree in Ireland; strong interest in data analytics.
• Basic coding knowledge in Python or JavaScript.
• Good communication and eagerness to learn.
• Willing to comply with quality and safety standards.
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask.
• Available for 6, 9, or 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data.
• Develop and test digital tools.
• Learn about cloud platforms, coding, and data visualization.
• Join team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Build SQL databases for prototype data.
• Create apps using Power Platform, Azure, SQL, and Python.
• Interact with task management tools using Power Platform, Azure, SQL, and Python.
• Support process improvements and ensure compliance.
• Communicate progress to mentor/leader.
• Receive training for these activities.
