Job summary

Dillon Engineering Services in Mayo seeks a Quantity Surveyor & Estimator to manage budgeting, tendering and commercial performance on diverse building and civil projects. The role requires a degree in QS or related discipline, plus 4+ years of experience, strong contract knowledge and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Quantity Surveyor

You will manage the financial and contractual aspects of projects, including estimating, procurement, subcontractor management, cost reporting, and cash flow forecasting. This role requires strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise effectively with project stakeholders.

You will be responsible for preparing accurate and commercially viable estimates, developing tender strategies, and liaising with stakeholders. The role also involves driving innovation in estimating practices, implementing new software systems, and contributing to value engineering and modern construction methods.

Requirements (for both roles)

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or related discipline
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role (QS or Estimator)
