Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and deliver high-quality modelling solutions in a financial context. You will work with risk management, product management, and engineering teams to create robust architectures and scalable platforms.

You will develop automated tests, documentation, and processes while leading technical discussions and adopting new technologies. This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and excellence in delivery.

Qualifications

• Advanced training or education in quantitative engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience with Python, AWS and NoSQL databases to deliver high-quality modelling solutions.

Experience Required

• Excellent Python experience required
• Experience debugging numerical computations and explaining results
• Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and streamline software development processes
• Experience in delivering high performing solutions using python, AWS and other modern technologies
• Experience leading innovation activities and proof of concept exercises
• A comprehensive knowledge of the technologies used by the team is required
• An ability to lead technical discussions is required
• An ability to quickly adopt new technologies and systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills is required
• Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team is required
• Experience working in a financial domain
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and scalable cloud systems.
