Job summary

stmichaels.ie is seeking a Quality, Safety and Risk Manager to report to the Chief Executive Officer. You will develop and lead the QSRM framework, health and safety programme, and quality initiative framework across the organisation, ensuring licensing, credentialing and accreditation requirements are secured and maintained.

Key Requirements for the Position:

The Quality, Safety and Risk Manager will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work within a framework of key performance indicators. He/she is responsible for meeting defined performance targets with clear accountability for results against benchmarked standards for Quality, Safety and Risk Management. The main areas of responsibility shall be to:

• Develop & Implement a comprehensive QSRM programme and to lead, advise and manage (where appropriate) the development and implementation of Quality, Risk and Safety structures and processes within the organisation.
• Develop & Implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Programme
• Develop & Implement a Quality Initiative Framework
• Secure & maintain Mandatory Licensing, credentialing & accreditation requirements
• Be responsible & accountable for the clinical governance function
• Establish & maintain patient outcomes & measure effectiveness of inputs & outputs

Salary Scale from €61,219 to €79,583
