Job summary

Sonas & Ethos Care Nursing Home Group is seeking a Quality Manager to provide strategic leadership in quality assurance, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across its nursing home network in Ireland. You will work closely with PICs, Regional Management, and the Executive Team to ensure person-centred care and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Quality Improvement, Clinical Governance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a quality, governance, compliance, or senior clinical leadership role within healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, regulatory requirements, and person-centred care frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in auditing, risk management, quality improvement, and compliance reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Full Irish driver''s licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to PICs in maintaining high standards of care, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance and improvement programmes across the Group.
• Act as the subject matter expert on HIQA standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice guidance.
• Conduct quality, compliance, and governance audits across nursing homes and oversee corrective action plans.
• Analyse quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Mentor and support PICs and management teams in clinical governance and compliance best practice.
• Monitor safeguarding processes, incident management, complaints, and organisational risk registers.
• Prepare and present quality and compliance reports for the Executive Team and Board.
• Contribute to strategic planning, organisational development, and service excellence initiatives.

Due to continued growth, Sonas & Ethos Care Nursing Home Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to play a pivotal role in driving excellence in care, governance, and compliance across our nursing home network.

As Quality Manager, you will provide strategic leadership in quality assurance, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple nursing homes. Working closely with Persons in Charge (PICs), Regional Management, and the Executive Team, you will help ensure the highest standards of person-centred care while fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and excellence.

Reporting to the Clinical Governance Lead, you will influence quality strategy across the Group and support our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.
