Job description

A senior leadership opportunity has arisen for an experienced quality, compliance & nursing professional to join a well-established healthcare organisation.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across quality, governance, compliance, risk management, and nursing services, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance are maintained across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's quality, compliance, governance, and risk management functions
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and organisational learning
• Oversee audit programmes, regulatory compliance, and inspection readiness
• Support and develop governance structures and reporting frameworks
• Lead incident, complaints, and risk management processes
• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing governance and clinical quality
• Support senior managers in delivering best practice and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with NMBI either in mental health or intellectual disability divisions
• Postgraduate qualification in quality, compliance, governance, or related field desirable
• Minimum 5 years' senior management experience within healthcare, disability, or social care services
• Strong understanding of quality management, governance, risk, and regulatory compliance
• Experience leading organisational change and service improvement initiatives
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
