Kenton Black Limited is recruiting a Senior Quality Manager to join the International Pre-Construction Team in Maynooth. You will lead quality assurance across bid and pre-construction, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and client requirements on major projects.

Based in Maynooth, you will influence tender strategies, develop quality plans, and collaborate across design, engineering and commercial teams to embed quality from the outset.

Formación

• Significant experience in a Quality Manager / Senior Quality Manager capacity.
• Experience working for a leading international contractor.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience working across complex, high-value projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Quality Assurance activities throughout the pre-construction and bid stages.
• Review tender documentation to identify quality requirements, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure quality requirements are appropriately incorporated into tender submissions and project strategies.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, procedures and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, international standards and client requirements.
• Work closely with design, engineering, commercial and pre-construction teams to embed quality considerations from the outset.
• Provide expert Quality input into project methodologies, proposals and tender responses.
• Identify potential quality risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support the development of project-specific quality objectives and KPIs.
• Contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Capture lessons learned and drive improvements across future projects.
• Engage with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters.
• Support the wider business in maintaining and continually improving its Quality Management System.

Quality Manager – Pre-Construction
Maynooth, Co. Kildare | €120,000 circa + Package

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Manager to join the International Pre-Construction Team of a leading international contractor, based in Maynooth.

This is a senior position within the organisation, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to move into a role where they can have a significant influence on major projects before construction begins.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quality requirements are identified, assessed and fully incorporated into tender submissions and pre-construction strategies.

Working closely with the pre-construction, commercial, engineering and project teams, you will lead quality assurance activities throughout the bid process, ensuring proposals meet client expectations, international standards and the company's own quality requirements.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

About You

This is a senior appointment, so we're looking for someone with a strong track record in Quality within major construction or engineering environments.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Significant experience in a Quality Manager / Senior Quality Manager capacity.
• Experience working for a leading international contractor.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience working across complex, high-value projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to influence project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within pre-construction, tendering or bid environments would be highly advantageous.

Experience on technically complex projects such as the following would be particularly attractive:

• Data Centres
• Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences
• BESS / Energy
• Semiconductor / Advanced Manufacturing

Candidates from other major construction, engineering or infrastructure environments with strong Quality backgrounds will also be considered.

• Circa €120,000 basic salary + package
