Job summary

Silent-Aire Europe in Dublin is seeking a diligent Quality Control Inspector to check, document and troubleshoot to ensure products meet exacting production standards. You will generate iAuditor inspection reports and collaborate with production teams to close open items, while creating new quality check sheets for designs.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in an engineering discipline – Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Conscientious, responsible and highly detail oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications and performing visual/measurement checks.
• Generates iAuditor inspection reports and closes open items with production.
• Creates quality check sheets and standards for new products.
• Collaborates with production, electrical, plumbing and stores teams to meet client standards.
• Works with engineering/production to implement efficient processes.
• Champions continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Completes tasks to support the quality management system and organizational mission.
