Job summary

Silent-Aire Europe in Dublin is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to check, document and troubleshoot to meet high production standards. You will influence inspection results with manufacturing teams and develop new inspection check sheets for new designs.

We are looking for a methodical, highly organised person with keen attention to detail and strong MS Office skills. Training will be provided, and the role offers a competitive package within a rapidly expanding multinational.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in an engineering discipline - Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Conscientious and responsible.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• An ability to understand quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement checks; communicating required adjustments or rework to production supervisor.
• Generating iAuditor Inspection reports and working with the production team to close out open items in a timely manner.
• Creating quality check sheets and standards for new products.
• Team working, mentoring and liaising with the production, electrical, plumbing & stores teams to ensure all works are completed to our Clients standard.
• Working with the engineering and production team to implement more efficient manufacturing processes.
• Engage and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Role modelling and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Accomplishes quality management system and organisation mission by completing related tasks as needed.
