Job summary

McDermott Laboratories Limited at Viatris is seeking a QC Analyst to join our quality control team. You will analyze raw materials, in-process and finished products, review analytical data and reports, and assist with method transfers.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc and at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical laboratory, with HPLC/UPLC experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Excel. We offer competitive salaries, benefits and an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree required.
At least 2 years in a laboratory environment.
Experience with raw materials and release testing.
Experience with method transfer/verification desirable.
Experience with dry powder inhaler testing would be an advantage.
Proficient with HPLC/UPLC.
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

The analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products
Reviewing analytical data, analytical reports and performing peer reviews
Performing analytical method transfers and compendia verifications
Instrument qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting
Protocol generation- method verification/transfer
Partaking in non-routine/complex projects
Providing training for team members
Following all relevant Standard Operating procedures
Ensuring strict adherence to site policies, GMP and environmental, health and safety regulations
