Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a QC Analyst to conduct chemical and physical tests on excipients, raw materials, and finished products. You will verify documentation, compile datapacks, and generate final CoA while ensuring alignment with FDA, GLP, and cGMP standards.

The role requires a strong background in analytical chemistry, experience in a pharmaceutical facility, and the ability to communicate findings to senior staff. This is an on-site opportunity based in Ireland.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in a relevant Science discipline.
• Desired minimum 4 years analytical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and knowledge of cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests and analyze excipients, cleaning samples, raw materials, intermediates, and final products including protocol testing to ensure compliance with standards and production targets.
• Verify testing records and associated documentation.
• Compile datapacks and generate Final CoA as necessary.
• Receive samples into the QC Laboratory through LIMS.
• Report issues or deviations to supervisor and provide status updates.
