Job summary

Suir Engineering seeks a seasoned Quality & Compliance Manager to support Data Center projects in Ireland (Leinster) and Europe. Based in Naas with site travel, you will lead quality strategy, policy implementation, and audits to ensure top-tier standards across projects.

You will drive quality culture, train staff, review Quality Plans and ITPs, and coordinate with subcontractors and supply chain to achieve Right first Time outcomes.

Qualifications

• A trade/engineering background is essential.
• Auditor training is preferred but not mandatory.
• 10+ years professional experience in construction/quality management.
• Strong technical knowledge across the construction industry.
• Understanding of off-site quality control requirements.
• Demonstrated capability in Quality Management.
• CQV knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Experience on Data Center projects or similar industries is desirable.
• People management experience.
• Ability to educate and train others on quality matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the quality strategy for the business.
• Implement the Quality Policy and our management system (including coaching for its use).
• Convene and deliver quality awareness workshops for new starts and projects.
• Promote a strong quality culture through training and inductions with project teams.
• Ensure all standards and procedures are available and training is completed.
• Oversee document management ensuring GDP compliance.
• Provide leadership in QA/QC with Right first time principles.
• Assist in drawing up project Quality Plans and ITPs.
• Promote quality planning with subcontractors and their quality plans.
• Review progress to ensure high quality delivery across construction cycles.
• Engage with supply chain to share learnings and drive improvements.
• Promote NCRs, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.
• Attend meetings with senior directors and QA Advisors.
