Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician at Nangor Road, Dublin, to provide technical, analytical, and microbiological support across brewing and utilities. You will perform analytical, chemical and microbiological testing, ensuring the highest quality standards on site.

The role requires strong attention to detail, independent and team collaboration, and proactive continuous improvement using Manufacturing Excellence tools. A relevant science degree and lab experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant science degree or equivalent.
• Experience working in laboratory setting.
• Preferred: Bachelor/Masters of Science (analytical or microbiology).
• Core competency in chromatography, chemical and microbiological analysis, and brewing QC.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP and GLP is desirable.
• Experience with LIMS (e.g., Harford).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, analytical, and microbiological support to ensure highest product quality on site.
• Shift pattern work; rotate between analytical, chemical, microbiological testing.
• Apply Manufacturing Excellence tools to drive lab and site performance.
• Demonstrate initiative and work autonomously within a team.
