Quality Assurance Technician North Dublin Full-Time | Permanent Nights | 7pm - 4am Salary €40,000 per annum Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality professional with at least 1 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment, within food manufacturing, to join an established Quality Team. The Role Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work as part of the Quality Assurance Team, supporting day-to-day production and ensuring all products meet food safety, quality, customer and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting production teams to ensure products are manufactured and packed in line with agreed standards and customer specifications.
- Carrying out testing and inspections of raw materials and finished products.
- Investigating non-conformances, identifying root causes and supporting corrective and preventative actions.
- Conducting CCP validations and supporting ongoing food safety verification activities.
- Completing calibration checks on equipment including temperature probes, data loggers and scales.
- Carrying out validation and verification activities including allergen, cleaning, CIP, sanitiser and species controls.
- Monitoring cleaning standards and completing ATP and environmental swabbing.
- Conducting internal audits including GMP, hygiene, glass and hard plastic and pre-production audits.
- Completing positive release checks including product tasting, weights, temperatures and specification checks.
- Monitoring temperatures across production, storage and transport, including reviewing data logger information.
- Ensuring quality and food safety documentation is completed accurately and in line with requirements.
- Supporting compliance with procedures relating to personal hygiene, foreign body control, traceability, labelling, allergens and species control.
Criteria
- Minimum 1 years' experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience within food manufacturing.
- Good understanding of food safety, quality and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Confident working with production teams and across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
- Own transport is essential due to the location and limited public transport availability.
- Must be available to work a Monday-Sunday shift roster.
Working Hours
- 7pm - 4am working 5 nights out of 7.
