About the Role
Pentagon Technical Services is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Dublin. Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for supervising quality assurance and quality control activities across the project, ensuring all installations comply with project specifications, client requirements, industry standards and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day QA/QC activities across the project.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with company Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Promote a proactive quality culture across all project teams.
Inspection & Testing
- Coordinate and oversee Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Conduct quality inspections and site walkdowns.
- Verify installations prior to client inspections and commissioning.
- Ensure all quality documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor testing activities and ensure compliance with project procedures.
NCR & Punch List Management
- Raise, monitor and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Manage snagging and punch list activities through to close-out.
- Work with construction teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Track corrective and preventative actions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records and inspection reports.
- Review method statements, inspection records and quality documentation.
- Support the preparation of Mechanical Completion and Handover documentation.
- Provide regular quality updates to the QA/QC Manager and project leadership.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a QA/QC Supervisor on large construction or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes within mission-critical environments.
- Experience managing inspections, ITPs, NCRs and quality documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience working alongside commissioning and construction teams.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
