Job summary

Astech Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to carry out planned maintenance, attend reactive callouts and complete repairs in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Commercial environments.

You will work on leading brands (Splits, VRV/VRF, CRAC, AHU, Chillers) with knowledge of BMS and HVAC controls, be organised, and capable of fault finding while joining the on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Fetac HVAC qualification required.
• FGas certification required.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Willing to join the on-call rota (approximately every 6 weeks).
• Experience with leading HVAC brands and environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Attend reactive callouts and perform repairs as needed.
• Work with brands such as Splits, VRV/VRF, CRAC, AHU and Chillers.
• Knowledge of BMS and HVAC controls is preferred.
• Maintain strong customer and colleague communication and stay organised.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for carrying out planned maintenances, attending re-active callouts and completing repairs
• Have experience working on leading brands Air Conditioning units – Splits, VRV, VRF, CRAC units, AHU’s and Chillers
• Have relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Commercial environments
• Have knowledge of BMS and HVAC controls
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with both customers and colleagues
• Be organised with strong attention to detail
• Have an aptitude for fault finding
• Be self-motivated, with proven ability to work on your own initiative to achieve targets
